El Smashing Times International Centre for the Arts & Equality es una entidad que funciona como un espacio de artes de clase mundial y un centro digital para artistas, activistas, comunidades y el público en general en Irlanda e internacionalmente, brindando un servicio de recursos y una agencia de capacitación y networking en relación con el uso de procesos creativos de alta calidad y prácticas artísticas colaborativas para promover los derechos humanos y la igualdad para todos.

Smashing Times fue fundada originalmente en 1991 por un grupo de mujeres artistas que se conocieron en el Focus Theatre Dublin. Hoy en día el centro produce un programa de artes interdisciplinario con un enfoque en el desarrollo económico, el turismo, la infraestructura comunitaria y la educación, mediante el cual se apoyan todos los medios artísticos, con un enfoque en las artes escénicas y colaborativas, incluyendo teatro, cine, artes visuales, danza y música.
Esta institución cuenta con un newsletter que circula mensualmente, compartiendo una variedad de obras de arte y recomendaciones artísticas, y detallando actividades, noticias y oportunidades de subvenciones.

This institution has extensive experience in using the arts to promote issues at the local, national, and European levels, establishing connections with organizations in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Europe, and internationally, including the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Greece, and Latvia.
Smashing Times was originally founded in 1991 by a group of women artists who met at the Focus Theatre Dublin. It was initially established as a professional theater company, but in 2015, the company expanded to incorporate professional film practice and new digital technologies, promoting an interdisciplinary approach. Today, the center produces an interdisciplinary arts program with a focus on economic development, tourism, community infrastructure, and education, supporting all artistic mediums, with a focus on the performing and collaborative arts, including theater, film, visual arts, dance, and music.
